Question 12477: 1.0= (84.44%-x)/44.43%
How do I get "x" to one side?
Answer by Earlsdon(6294) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Well, you sort of "undo" things to get the x by itself.
1.0 = (84.44% - x)/44.43% Multiply both sides by 44.43%
44.43% = 84.44% - x Add x to both sides.
x + 44.43% = 84.44% Finally, subtract 44.43% from both sides.
x = 84.44% - 44.43%
x = 40.01%
