Question 203881: Hello,
Here is the question that I have to answer. I am totally lost!! I have read the book over and over again and cannot figure this out.
1. Give an example of an exponential function. Convert this exponential function to a logarithmic function. Plot the graph of both the functions.
I am guessing but I think that an example of an exponential function would be e^2-13=x. I have no idea how to then convert this to a logarithmic function and to plot a graph. Please someone help break this down for me to understand. I want to learn it!! Thank you in advance for your time.
Colleen

Question 205515: In 2000, the population of Isreal was approximeatly 6.04 million and the population of the Palestinians in the West Bank, Gaza Atrip, and East Jerusalem was approximately 3.2 million in 2050 Israel is projected to grow to 10 million and the population of Palestinians to 12 million.
Use the exponential growth mdoel A=A(subscript, 0)e^kt, in which t is the number of years after 2000 to find an exponential growth function that models the data for the Israeilis and growth function that models the data for the Palestinians. n which year will each of the populations reach 9 million??
This is a long one...I know I am sapose to use the continuous growth model but I dont really know what numbers go in what spot to make an equation!..
help?
