Find the predicted population in 2020 to the nearest 10th of a million
My team mates and I can not figure out how to lay out the equation for this one.
So we thought 2020=2006= 14yrs. and 2028-2020 = 8 yrs difference.
then multiply the 1.43 x 12 x 8 ????? I'm/were confused.

How would i slove this?
In general functions are compressed horizontally by a factor of two when you replace the 'x' in the function with '2x'.
The solution for this particular problem would be:
f(x) = 8 ^(2x)
This can be simplified...
f(x) = 8 ^ (2 * x)
f(x) = (8 ^ 2) ^ x
f(x) = 64 ^ x

which I got what is 4(4x^2-8x+3)^3 but can not figure out (fx-g) part and then it ask now use y' to find the equation of the tangent line at the point (2,81)
