Given that there are 3600 seconds in an hour, 24 hours in a day, and approximately 365.24 days in a year, what is the distance to 61 Cygni in meters? Give your answer in scientific notation with three decimal places.
Should I multiply c X 3600 X 24 X 365.24 X 10.3? That seems too simple though I am not sure exactly how to start..

That is exactly how to do it. Good job. A check would be 31,536,000 seconds in a 365 day year, a light year about 5.88 trillion miles,which is about 9.5 trillion kilometers, about 100 trillion kilometers to 61 Cyg, and 100 quadrillion meters when you get done.
