Question 949582: How do I determine the range, domain, x & y intercepts for these equations?
a) y=5(1.2)^x
b) 3 3/4^x
Thanks in advance!

Answer by josgarithmetic(39620)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Defined for all real values of x;
Approach y=0 to the left, infinity to the right;
DOMAIN: All real values of x.
RANGE: Real values greater than 0.

INTERCEPTS?
Set x=0 for each function. What is y?

Setting y=0 to solve for x-intercept produces no result. Your two exponential functions never intersect the x-axis.
