Not exactly sure which section this belongs to, but what's throwing me off is the fractional power. I got to (8+2x)^(5/4) = 32, and I tried to simplify it by putting 2x + 8 to the 5th power, and then to the fourth root, but I was still confused on how to solve from there. I'd really appreciate any hints or help with this, it's really mind boggling to me.
