Question 862830: the fox population in a certain region has a continuous growth rate of 5% per year. It is estimated that the population in the year 2000 was 9100.
a)find the function that models the population t years after 2000(t=0 for 2000) your answer is P(t)=
b)use the function from part a to estimate the fox population in the year 2008. answer must be an integer.
I am using the formula A=Pe^rt
P=2000
r=.05
t=8years
however I see I am to solve for P, but can't find any examples of how to do this.

Hi
Re TY, see ****
r = .05
A(t) =
A(8) = ****
A(8) = = 2984(nearest Integer) using Calculator
