Question 817755: In 1990, the resident energy use in the US was responsible for 962 million metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions. Byt the year 2000, that number had risen to 1182 million metric tons. The following function models carbon dioxide emissions, where N in the number of metric tons of carbon dioxide and t is years from 1990
If the emissions grow exponentially and continue at the same rate, what will the emissions grow to by 2050?

What "following function"?
Without the function I can only tell you what to do generally. Since "t" is the number of years since 1990 and since 2050 is 60 years after 1990, use a value of 60 for t in the function and then simplify to find N. In other "words", find N(60).
