3^2x=1+1/9
take Log of both sides
(2x)log3=log(10/9)
so
2x= log(10/9)/log 3
x= 0.095/2
x=0.047

I think this question may have been misunderstood because of the way it's written.
3%5E%282x-1%29=1%2F9
3%5E%282x-1%29=3%5E-2
So comparing the two powers of 3:
2x-1=-2
x=-1%2F2
