b.log2 - 3logx - 5
c.log2 + 3logx - log5
d.log2 + 3logx + 5

Answer by mathdoc314(58)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!

When you see log (stuff multiplied together) and one of the things is a 2, it comes out as a log 2 + log of other stuff
The reason for a - is if you divided by something
If you divided by 5 then you subtract log 5
This should give you the answer
All the answers have the log(x^3) as 3 log x correct.
You know that is not - because you didn't divide by x^3.
