Just look at this and you can see that the reciprocal of 2/3 squared = 9/4;
(3/2)^2 = 9/4, therefore x = -2
:
You can do it using logs and the log equiv of exponents:
x*log(2/3) = log(9/4)
:
Use a calc to find the logs of (2/3) and (9/4)
-.176091x = .3528125
:
x = .3528125/-.176091
:
x = -2.00
