I think you meant 6x-3 to all be the exponent, if I'm wrong let me know and I'll revise this.
10^(6x-3)=100,000
10^(6x-3)=10^5 Once the bases are the same, you can equate their exponents.
6x-3=5
6x-3+3=5+3
6x=8
6x/6=8/6

Check:
10^(6(4/3)-3)=100,000
10^(2(4)-3)=100,000
10^(8-3)=100,000
10^5=100,000
100,000=100,000 We're right!!!

10 ^ 6x -3 = 10 ^5
Because 10 ^5 = 100,000

10 ^ 6x -3 = 10 ^5
Since the bases are same, we equate the powers.
i.e. 6x -3 = 5
Add 3 on both sides, we get
6x -3 + 3 = 5 + 3
6x = 8
Now divide the above equation by 6, we get
x = 8 / 6
x = 4 / 3

If I am reading this correctly ....

First change the right side to the proper form, in this case 10^5

since the bases are the same, set the exponents equal to one another

add 3 to both sides

divide by 6

reduce the fraction
