PH of sour pickles question:
The hydrogen ion concentration of sour pickles is 6.31 x 10^-4. Find the PH.
pH= -log [H^+]
pH= -log 10^-4
= -(-4)log10
= -(-4)multiplied by 1
using property 2 of logarithms: logb b=1
= 4
