Question 613765: Hi! How would you solve log base 2 of x + log base 2 of (x+3) = 2?
Thanks for your help!!!
Answer by scott8148(6628) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x(x + 3) = 2^2
x^2 + 3x - 4 = 0
(x + 4)(x - 1) = 0
FYI : logarithms are not defined for negative arguments
