Question 579984: I submitted a question earlier but I have figured it out. The question was 36 to the 5X - 2 power = 1/6 to the 11- x power. I no longer need the solution as I got the answer which is -5/3.

Wrong, it's not x=-5/3
take log(base 6) of both sides
10x - 4 = -11 + x
9x = -7
x = -7/9
CHECK:
5(-7/9)-2 = -53/9
11 - (-7/9) = 106/9
