SOLUTION: Find the solution of the exponential equation,correct to 4 decimal places:
4(1 + 10^5x) = 9
I got:
1 + 10^5x = 9/4
10^5x = 9/4 - 1
10^5x = 3/2
5x = log 3/2 / log10 = 0.10

Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
I got:
1 + 10^5x = 9/4
10^5x = 9/4 - 1
10^5x = 3/2
5x(log10) = 3/2
Since log10=1 you get:
5x=3/2
x=3/10
x=0.3
