Question 449290: 2x squared + 10 = 9x? How do I compute this equation?
Answer by ankor@dixie-net.com(22740)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2x^2 + 10 = 9x
subtract 9x from both sides, so you have:
2x^2 - 9x + 10 = 0
Factor this to
(2x-5)(x-2) = 0
Two solutions
x = 2
and
2x = 5
x = 2.5 (divided both sides by 2)
