x*log(23) = -3x
x*log(23) + 3x = 0
x*(log(23) + 3) = 0
x = 0

Start with the given equation.


Take the natural log of both sides.


Pull down the exponents.



Add to both sides.


Factor out the GCF 'x' from the left side.


Divide both sides by to isolate 'x'.


Divide.
