Answer by josmiceli(19441) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
8^1/3 = x
This is exactly right
x is equal to the cube root of 8
What multiplied by itself three times equals 8?
2 * 2 * 2 = 8
2 is the cube root of 8 and x = 2
