Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
This form is "the difference of cubes"
It factors this way:
a^3-b^3=(a-b)(a^2+ab+b^2)
In your problem a=2x and b=1
It factors as (2x-1)(4x^2+2x+1)
