Question 320904: 2p^3=7p
Answer by toidayma(44) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2p^3 = 7p <-> 2p^3 - 7p = 0 <-> p(2p^2 -7) = 0 <-> p = 0 or (2p^2 -7) = 0
Take a look at 2p^2 - 7 = 0 <-> p^2 = 3.5 <-> p = +- sqrt(3.5)
So we have three roots of this equation: -sqrt(3.5), 0 and sqrt(3.5).
