Question 300591: f(x)=2^3log_2(8x+3)
express this function without logarithms

Answer by dabanfield(803)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
f(x)=2^3log_2(8x+3)
express this function without logarithms
Note that, by a law of logs, 3*log base2 (8x+3) = log base2 (8x+3)^3
By definition log base 2 (8x+3)^3 is the power that 2 needs to be raised to to be equal (8x+2)^3 so
f(x)= (8x+2)^3
