Question 292973: ho wdo you solve for x for the problem..... (ln(5x-1)-lnx=3)
Answer by edjones(8007) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
ln(5x-1)-ln(x)=3
e^ln(5x-1)/e^ln(x)=e^3
5x-1/x=20.09...
5x-1=20.09x
15.09x=-1
x=-1/15.09
Since a log <=0 then there is no answer.
