use the formula log(base a)x=log(base b)x/log(base b)a and prove each property:

loga(b) = log(b)/log(a)
Note: That equation is true for ANY base.
Let the base be "b":
Then loga(b) = logb(b)/logb(a)
= 1/logb(a)
