Question 28698: I need to simplify this formula and I'm having trouble understanding how to move the expression with the negative exponent up to the top of the equation. Could you please help me??? M = rp / [1 - (1 + r)^-n ] Thanks.
Answer by longjonsilver(2297)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
when you say "simplify", i am not sure that there is much EASY manipulation you can do here to make any simplification worthwhile.

Can you be more specific as to the aim of the question? Do you need to re-write it in terms of r for example?

The issue is the 1- aspect, this makes the denominator a lot harder to re-arrange.
