Question 199845: 3. What are the asymptotes of the functions "f(x) = 4x" and "g(x) = log5x"?
Answer by RAY100(1637) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1) f(x) = 4x,,,,,or y=4x
.
this is a linear equation, without any asymptote
.
2) g(x) = log 5x
All log functions have a vertical asymptote at x=0
