Question 19252: 2log5+log4
Answer by venugopalramana(3286) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! let N=2log5+log4....use the following formulae
IF log x =y...it means log x to base 10 =y...that is 10 to the power of y=x...that is 10^y=x
log x+log y=log x*y
n*log x=log (x)^n
so 2log 5=log 5^2=log(5*5)=log 25
so 2log5+log4=log 25 +log 4=log (25*4)=log(25*4)=log 100= n say..then...
10^N=100=10*10=10^2
so N=2 ...or.... N=2log5+log4=2
