I dont exactly know how to type that but its 5 raised to log is followed by a small 5 thats a little bit lower and next to that a little raised is an x.
I have no idea how to do that but i know that the answer is x could you please explain this to me?

Now, for the solution to your problem. Remember that:



But notice that in your problem, you are raising 5 to a base-5 logarithm. What means is "the number I would use as an exponent on 5 to equal x" Hence if you raise 5 to the power of the number you would use as an exponent on 5 to equal x, then you would just get x.
