Find the solution of the exponential equation, correct to four decimal places.
8^(x / 2) = 3^(1 - x)

8^(x / 2) = 3^(1 - x)

Take the log of both sides to get:
(x/2)log8 = (1-x)log3
0.451545x = log3 - 0.47712x
0.928666x = log3
x = 0.51377...
