okay an exponent is the power to which a number or variable is raised for an example 3square root of 4 the four would be the exponent and an power is a number produced by raising a base to a given exponent like the 3 square root of 4 the three would be the power!!!!!!!!!!! if you need any more help just ask me i am a 10th grader and my user name is sophmore
