:Exponent is 2, multiplied 2 times.
:Exponent is 3, multiplied 3 times.
:Exponent is 4, multiplied 4 times.
:Exponent is 5, multiplied 5 times, and so on.

The exponent in the expression signifies how many times the factor is multiplied with itself.
