2[2^(x/3)^2] - 3[2(x/3)] - 20 = 0
Let 2^(x/3) = w
2w^2 -3w -20 = 0
(w-4)(2w-5) = 0
w = 4 or w = 5/2

Therefore:
2^(x/3) = 4 or 2^(x/3) = 5/2
2^(x/3) = 2^2 or (x/3)log2 = log(5/2)
x/3 = 2 or (x/3) = [log(5/2)]/[log2]
x = 6 or x = 3[0.9193] = 2.7580

2^2x-1 -3x2^x-1 +1=0
(1/2)(2^x)^2 - (3/2)(2^x) +1 = 0
Let 2^x = w
(1/2)w^2 -(3/2)w + 1 = 0
w^2 - 3w + 2 = 0

w = 1 or w = 2
