Question 131041: I missed lecture on Chapter 13.2 and 13.3 because I had to work and I am struggling trying to understand what it is they want me to do and how to work it.
Problem is # 8 in section 13.2 Graph y=3^ ^ is x other problems listed are y= (1/3) ^ with ^ being x.
I m not understanding how or what format is used in drawing out the box and where the numbers come from.
Please help.

Exponential equation curving upward.
Points: (-1,1/3), (0,1), (1,3), (2,9) etc

y = (1/3)^x
Exponental equation---decreasing
Points: (-1,3),(0,1),(1,1/3), (2,1/9)
