Did you leave out the equal sign? Without an equal sign, it is NOT an EQUATION. If it is not an equation, you can't solve it.

Then again, maybe this is an expression and you want to simplify the expression or factor the expression. If this is the case, then it is not clear from your problem but were there some exponents involved? The problem just is not clear to me.
