Answer by Boreal(15235)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3 log (n+4)=log 8
log(n+4)^3=log 8
raise everything to the 10th power
(n+4)^3=8
n+4=2
n=-2
6 log 2=2 log 8=2 log (2^3)=2*3 log 2=6 log 2

Answer by ikleyn(52879)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
.

6log(n+4) = 2log(8)

6log(n+4) = 2*3*log(2)

log(n+4) = log(2)

n+4 = 2

n = 2 - 4 = -2.   ANSWER

Solved.
