Solve for x in the following equations
(i). In x^2+ In x = 9
It's ln, not In. Natural log
ln(x^2) + ln(x) = 9
ln(x^3) = 9
x^3 = e^9
x = e^3 --- the simplest solution
There are 2 others.

(ii).
