An insect colony has a population that is modeled by p = 427e^t/18, where t is the number of days since scientists begin studying the colony. How many days will it take for the population to reach 700?
--------
I'll assume the exponent is t/18
p = 427e^(t/18) = 700
e^(t/18) = 700/427 = 100/61
t/18 = ln(100/61)
t = 18*ln(100/61) days
