log (10+10)
That is log (20)=1.3010
log 10 +log 10=1+1=2.
The log scale is not interval, meaning that the distance from log 2 to log 3 is not the same as the distance from log 6 to log 7 for example.

log x + log y = log(xy), which is clearly not equal to log(x+y)
