Question 1057219: Log(3x-1)-log2 equal to -3
Answer by Boreal(15235) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Log(3x-1)-log2 equal to -3
log {(3x-1)/2)}=-3
raise to the 10th power
(3x-1)/2=0.001
3x-1=0.002
3x=1.002
x=0.334
Check
log (1.002-1)-log 2=
log (0.002)-0.3010
-2.70-0.3=-3
