Question 1044890: F(x)=[logx] where [] is greatest integer function ...set of zeros of f(x)???
Answer by Edwin McCravy(20060)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!

log(1) = 0, and common log of anything else is NOT zero.

The greatest integer function of all and only all
numbers between 0 and 10, exclusive of 0 and 10,
is 1. Therefore the set of zeros is

the interval {x|0 < x < 10} or in interval notation (0,10)
