Question 1015525: How would you verify this equation?
5 - log3 + log1/2 = 5 - log6

Answer by Boreal(15235)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
5 - log3 + log1/2 = 5 - log6
remove the 5s then exchange the log 6 and the log 3 to make them both positive
log 6+ log (1/2)=log 3
log {6*(1/2))=log 3
log 3= log 3
when one adds logs, they are multiplied.
log 3 +log 2=log 6
