Question 898226: I am working on distributive property. This is the only question I can not figure out on My Math Lab.
7(z+1)-2(z-2)=2(z-2)+2(z-3)
I have tried doing it like this.
7(z+1)-2(z-2)=2(z-2)+2(z-3)
7z+7-2z+4=2z-4+2z-6
5z+11=4z-10
5z=4z-(10-11)
5z=4z-1
z=7
but I don't know if I am setting it up right because I can't find the correct answer.
