To solve for x ,
-( 1+ 7x) - 6( -7-x) = 36
- 1 - 7x + 42 + 6 x = 36
- x + 41 = 36
-x = -5
x = 5
To check :
-( 1+ 7*5) - 6(-7-5) = 36
-( 1+ 35) + 42 + 30 = 36
-1 -35 + 42 +30 = 36
