I am decent at math (not wonderful) so she has been having me help with the problems she can't get. We are all stuck on one right now. has no solution set. If you add

which is clearly false. On the other hand,

because it is just a specific instance of the Distributive Property. And your last expression is also false. 4 times 24 is 96 while 4 times 6 plus 4 times 4 is 24 plus 16 = 40. Now, I've got 40 bucks in my wallet and would love for them to turn into 96 bucks, but that ain't gonna happen without some sort of external influence, is it? You simply aren't explaining yourself very well here. Sorry.
