Multiply the terms in the () by 2.
4x+8=5x+5
Subtract 5x & 8 from both sides.
4x-5x=5-8
Combine like terms.
-x=-3
Divide both sides by -1.
x=3 ans.
Proof replace x by 3.
2(2*3+4)=5*3+5
2(6+4)=15+5
2*10=20
20=20
