Answer by ReadingBoosters(3246)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Starting with
-9m - [2(11-2m)+14] = 7m
Distribute the - across the brackets
-9m - 2(11-2m) - 14 = 7m
Distribute the 2 across the parentheses
-9m - 22 + 4m - 14 = 7m
Combine like terms
-5m - 36 = 7m
-5m + 5m - 36 = 7m + 5m
-36 = 12m
-36/12 = 12m/12
-3 = m
