Hi,
(4a-3)^2
(4a-3)(4a-3) = 16a^2 - 24a + 9
When using FOIL, the 'middle'term is the sum of the outside and inside products
F First terms 16a^2
O Outside terms -12a
I Inside terms -12a
L Last terms (-3)(-3) = 9
