Question 594842: (x-2)(2x+3)
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(x-2)(2x+3)

x*2x + x*3 - 2*2x - 2*3

2x^2 + 3x - 4x - 6

2x^2 - x - 6

So (x-2)(2x+3) expands and fully simplifies to 2x^2 - x - 6

In other words (x-2)(2x+3) = 2x^2 - x - 6 for all values of x.
