(4x-2)(4x-2)
4x(4x-2)-2(4x-2) First distribute 4x times the second parenthesese, then distribute the -2
4x(4x)+4x(-2)-2(4x)-2(-2)
16x^2-8x-8x+4 Finally Combine your like terms.
