Question 470775: Here is the original problem: 6(y-1/6)+3(2y-4). I got to the point where it is 12y-1-12. I'm just wondering if the subtraction sign in front of the one makes it a negative one, so insted of the answer being 12y-11 would it be 12y-13? Sorry if my question is long and confusing, I wan't sure how to phrase it.
